Nalu, the woodland sprite, lives in a Siberian forest. He provides for a lot of fruitfulness and recreation. You can say that he is the king of the forest. The Lakindas also live in the forest; they honour Nalu, but Nalu is not satisfied with them hunting so many animals.

For this reason, he called the other animals together to make a plan with them.

One day, all animals hid at a hiding place under the stairs of Nalu's house. At first, the humans were surprised that they did not find any more animals when they went hunting. Soon they became angry because they had not had any meet for days. Some people discovered delicious berries when they were looking for the animals. They realized that they were very wholesome. So they stopped looking for the animals after a few days already.

Nalu and Mother Earth were very happy about that. Nalu asked: "Shall we let the animals go back into the forests again?" "Yes", said Mother Earth, "I think the humans have realized that there is more food for them than meet." The animals were also happy that they could leave their hiding place at last. And they were really astonished when they met people who did not shoot them but admired their beauty.

One day, Nalu did not feel so well any more, but he did not have a substitute.
He thought about who he could choose Mrs Eagle? The Rose Carnation? He had a lot of possibilities. He said: "I have an idea. I'll ask Mother Earth." He set off immediately, through the fir forest, the Magic Forest and finally the Foggy Bay. When he arrived at Mother Earth's home, Nalu said: "Dear Mother Earth, could you please be my substitute for today?" "Oh yes, with pleasure", she replied. The Mother had a lot of fun with the animals and Nalu got well again.

One day he talked to Mother Earth and asked: "Are you worried about something?" Earth answered: "Yes, about the humans. They throw more and more waste into the forest, and that makes me feel sicker and sicker." "What are humans." Earth answered Nalu: "Humans do not have any fur nor hoofs; they have feet. They do not have any horns either."

Nalu listened to them carefully. She also told him that they did not live in the forest but in houses. Nalu said: "I'll find the humans and make you feel well again", and he set off. A few days later, he arrived in Germany and found the humans. At first, Nalu thought that he was at the wrong place, but then he dared to get closer and closer to them.
That is why Nalu now provides for fruitfulness in the German forests too.
