"Sketches around the World" in China

环保蓝图遍世界

The campaign was launched in China in the middle of last December under the common action of Veolia Environmental Services and Veolia Water.

The Winning Message: Qingdao

Class no. 2 of Jimei school

Water, a life source.

Water is the source of life. There is a legend that says that the last drop of water that will touch upon the soil of our planet Earth will be the tear of a Man. We therefore decided that water would be the main theme of our project.

Our project is halfway between a drawing and a kind of small work of art. We tried to use as many scrap objects as possible to create our project: matches, toothpicks, straws, recycled paper...

Our progress already achieved

On the left of our drawing we depicted our town's wastewater treatment plant.
Thanks to this progress the outskirts of our town have become more attractive. There is much less water wasted...

Our idea for progress

On the right of our drawing, we would like to set up a "waste water purification" machine that would be called "Future Mark".
This machine would be an example of great efficiency as it would be able to purify all the wastewater in our town. Inhabitants would be able to re-use the water they had already used. It would be magic! This machine could also treat seawater... This machine would be entirely dedicated to sustainable development in Qingdao.

Yet this machine holds even more surprises for you! Drinking the purified water from this machine would be good for your health. Sick people could get back their strength, their youth... No more need to resort to medicines. There will be many beneficial effects within the field of agriculture.

This water would turn the whole of our planet's environment on its head! Nature would have beautiful colors, it would be rich and bountiful! Former species would reappear, and we can even envisage this "purifying" water becoming a new source of energy...
