Sketches around the world in Egypt

The Winning Message: Alexandria

Al school - Ekbal, Alexandria

The eye portrays man looking at his environment; it is sad and happy at the same time, because the terrestrial globe is divided into two parts.

In the first part, the environment is healthy, clean and unpolluted, while in the second part, the environment has been destroyed because of pollution.

The hand we drew in the middle of the drawing expresses collaboration and the innocent bird symbolizes hope and peace.

The children on this planet must begin to clean and protect progress from pollution in order to welcome a radiant future.

The Winning Message: Cairo

Cleopatre school, Cairo

Egypt is our dear country, we live on its soil and we use its riches to feed ourselves. In order to show how much we love our country, we must do all we can to maintain and protect our environment, we must keep it clean.

Pollution does great harm to man. In our opinion, there are two kinds of pollution:

  • "Natural" pollution: Earthquakes, volcanoes, rains, floods.
  • Pollution caused by man: car exhaust fumes, garbage in the Nile, pollution from factories...Man is hurting our planet Earth...

We wish Man would stop smoking, stop throwing his garbage into the streets or into the Nile...
We would like to plant thousands of trees so that our children can breathe healthy air.

If we live in a good, clean environment, our country will be proud. We are a country that has over 4000 years of civilization; we must maintain our civilization because it's our value.

We must keep our environment clean!

The environment is an element of civilization, the view we show to all the other countries in the world...
