Our flag represents lots of ideas and understandings that we have developed in our work about the environment. We know that a healthy and happy environment leads to healthy, happy people. We have used lots of bright, fresh colours because of what we see in a healthy environment.
The pictures represent what we see in a healthy environment: fresh, green grass and flowers blooming, animals having babies (eggs and pouches representing birth), homes for creatures to live in, the sun shining brightly to give us warmth and energy, healthy trees giving us oxygen and food and of course, happy, healthy people who are enjoying their environment.
The clouds represent the dangerous things we want banned: smoke, exhaust fumes and all types of pollution.
The arrows in the sun represent the importance of recycling and saving our resources.
We need to encourage and educate people to look after our environment so we can have a healthy future.

We made our flag lots of different colours that tell about our world. Yellow is the sun that we need to grow food and be healthy. Green is for our environment. Red is for blood and health. Blue is for a clean sky and clean water. Orange is for food.
