A scroll around the world

Launch of the project

Henri Proglio, Chairman of Veolia Environnement wrote a message to the children from the 24 cities where the scroll around the World will stop.

« Just like you, most children today grow up in cities which will remain the setting for future generations.
I think that it is important to involve you in our search for ideas on what we can do to live well in our cities.
On its world tour, the scroll will stop in many cities to collect drawings. These represent children's commitment to protect the environment, their daily surroundings and also their health.
I look forward to the return of the scroll and to seeing the recommendations illustrated through these drawings. I believe that simple every day habits will help make a difference in improving life today but also to-morrow.
