The event

The Scroll came to Olomouc in Czech republic on May 17, after visiting the capital city Prague.

The Scroll was formally welcomed at 10:00 at the Town hall in Olomouc by the Lord Mayor Martin Tesaík and by representatives from all the divisions Veolia Environnement.

65 children from two primary schools took part on this project. The drawing was done by 5 children from primary school Terera in Olomouc. They were: Dokoupilová Hana, Masopustová Markéta, Jiíek Filip, Trunda Václav a Krempl Jan.

A cultural program entertained children and hosts: the entrance of the kids folklore ensemble Krupánek from Velká bystice near Olomouc, the letting out the balloons withthe ecological notes about the safety of out town and the sightseeing from the tower in town hall.

After the event finished the Scroll left Olomouc and drove away to Bratislava, Slovakia, for its next stop.

For children, who were participating on this event, the biggest experience was that they could see the drawings about the environment and health prevention even from different states and countries, and so they could compare their ideas with the others.
